Meet Priscilla!
Big Blend's Travel Mascot

Big Blend’s travel mascot is Priscilla, and yes, she is a sock monkey. She was given to Big Blend Magazine editor Lisa Smith as a birthday gift by musicians and friends Michael & Spider. As a dare, she ended up going on her first trip with us, taking in the delights of Southern California, Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Florida and beyond. Now she's officially the travel mascot for the SPIRIT OF AMERICA Tour.

In Silver City, New Mexico, the gals at The Silver City Arts and Cultural District dressed Priscilla in a beautiful little dress and hat, and gave her a salon chair turned Directors Chair - but now, with her growing popularity we're calling it 'Priscilla's Diva Chair!' Speaking of Divas, Big Blend travel writer Linda Kissam 'Food, Wine & Shopping Diva' introduced Priscilla to her two wine tasting pals - Pinot Pony and Mr. Pete. On one adventure Priscilla and Pinot Pony met fashion designer Aggie Garcia, who blinged them out with colorful sequins. They're stylish!

Priscilla is a big child at heart who loves Junior Park Ranger activities and likes to hang out with MIM 'The Little Man in The Map', who gives her geography lessons in Big Blend's National Park Color-in Pages. Priscilla also spends time with Quantum Quackers who taught her all about the 8 Keys of Excellence.
